Further information can be obtained from the Ausgleichsamt Karlsruhe (in German). The office's brochure contains tips and addresses for late repatriates (People with German origin returning from the former Eastern Block countries) to Karlsruhe and is available as a pdf file (in German).

A detailed brochure with lots of practical hints and tips for migrants can be obtained from the Home Office in German and Russian as a pdf file to download.

New: "A Manual for Germany" of the Beauftragte der Bundesregierung für Migration, Flüchtlinge und Integration (Representative of the Federal Government of Migration, Refugees, and Integration).

In her article, "Why Do Late Repatriates in Germany "Sit Between Chairs"?", printed in the Frankfurter Rundschau from 27.09.1999, Lena Khuen-Belasi, from the Internationalen Bund (IB) Jugendgemeinschaftswerk, Karlsruhe, reports about the situation of migrants in Germany.
