Aims

The Internationale Händel-Akademie Karlsruhe serves as a permanent research and education centre for musicologists, musicians, and students coming from home and abroad, focussing on theoretical-musicology and practical interpretation of the works of Georg Friedrich Handel.

Participants

The INTERNATIONALE HÄNDEL-AKADEMIE KARLSRUHE is open to musicians and singers who are working or in training, to musicologists, who are looking for a link between science and practice, and to interested lay people.

Participation

The INTERNATIONALE HÄNDEL-AKADEMIE KARLSRUHE offers the possibility of active and passive participation.
To possess own instruments is presupposed, the pitch is 430 Hz. If an entrance examination is required, the lecturer of the course decides whether you can join the active participation. This decision is not contestable.
If the entrance examination is unsuccessful, it is possible to take part as a passive participant.
